Today was one of our favorite Stevenson traditions...the annual Dudes Breakfast! 🥞 Each year, the men on our staff cook and serve a pancake breakfast. We are so thankful for the time and care they put into making this tradition so special!
Calling all Stevenson alumni! 🎓❤️ We are excited to continue our Senior Walk Out Parade tradition and celebrate our graduating seniors! Former Stevenson Stallions are invited to return to Stevenson in their caps and gowns for a special parade through the school. Current students and staff will be lining the halls to cheer you on as you celebrate this incredible milestone! 📅 Thursday, May 21 ⏰ Arrive by 2:00 PM at Door 1 📍 Stevenson Elementary Families of graduating seniors are welcome to join the celebration, and we will gather in the gym for a group photo after the parade.
Today we celebrated our 6th graders during our annual Drive-Through Celebration! Since 2020, this special tradition has brought our school community together as teachers line the driveway to cheer on and celebrate our students as they prepare for their next chapter. From smiles and waves to cheers and signs, it was a joyful reminder of just how proud we are of this amazing group of students. Congratulations, 6th graders — we can’t wait to see all the great things ahead for you! ♥️🖤
Our 4th graders did an incredible job designing and building their own Chicago-inspired landmarks and skyscrapers. They will culminate their learning with an architecture tour later this week! 🏙️ We are so proud of their creativity, teamwork, and engineering skills. Great work, 4th grade! 👏👏👏
What a great assembly celebrating our school community's hard work raising money for St. Jude's! Stevenson raised over $2,000! Our afternoon was filled with laughter, spirit and unforgettable fun featuring teacher inflatable races and minute to win it games. Thank you to everyone who donated, participated and cheered us on.

Stevenson was proud to be part of the Michelle Burke STEAM Showcase at the district office! ✨ Our students represented Stevenson so well, showcasing their creativity through beautiful artwork and an innovative scam detector designed to help keep people safe online. It was inspiring to see their ideas on display alongside projects from across the district. Congratulations to our Stevenson students whose projects were selected for display. We are so proud of your hard work, creativity, and problem-solving!

Our K–2 students have been busy engineers in the library! 🛠️ Over the past few weeks, they’ve been exploring simple machines, and this week they learned how to safely use a screwdriver. Stevenson has some amazing little makers and fixers! 🔧
