Physical Education
Students have P.E. twice a week for 30 minutes. During that time they will experience the state goals required for that grade level. My mission is to create a program that enhances each child’s ability to engage in activities that will lead to a lifetime of health and fitness.
To ensure that your child has a positive experience I need your support in a few areas.
- Make certain your child has proper footwear to wear during gym class. No sandals, clogs or stylish shoes that resemble gym shoes. Gym shoes also need to be clean.
- Clothing that allows freedom of movement and accommodates the weather for that day.
- Good nutritional food choices to fuel them during the day.
- Notes from a parent or physician regarding injury or health related excuses.
